about
Personal wellness has many dimensions including health, social, occupational, spiritual and financial, with many of them being interrelated.
Research suggests that at least 1 in 4 Australians who are within the workforce are financially stressed, and this is having a significant impact on their mental and physical health, their relationships and their productivity and concentration levels at work. The research also supports that employees don’t leave this at home and at least 3 hours a week within working hours are impacted by this type of stress. The cost and lost productivity for businesses can be significant.
Progressive organisations that are committed to the total wellness of their employees need to take note of the mounting evidence and more importantly take action.
